Since we believe that the local church is God’s agent for change in a broken world, much of our work focuses on empowering them to provide holistic services to children throughout the time that they are in school. Practically, this means equipping the local church with the tools, training and support they need to launch child development centers where children can receive life-changing opportunities that would otherwise be out of their reach.
Compassion currently partners with more than 8,200 churches globally. Over the next few years, we have plans to launch child development centers in more than hundreds of new communities and provide life-changing services for thousands of new children living in regions of extreme poverty.
