Greetings, Church at Brook Hills! Your gift to mothers and babies at frontline church partners in Togo is making it possible for babies to have a promising start to life. Babies and their caregivers receive holistic care from before they are born through their first year of life. Survival staff spend valuable time with caregivers and babies, ensuring each baby is healthy and growing.

A Letter From Noélie, a Caregiver at Eglise Biblique Chretienne de la vie Profonde Paroisse (TG0710)
Dear Friends,
In 2021, my husband fell suddenly ill, and though I cared for him, he was not getting better. Our business went bankrupt, so we moved in with my husband’s family. We came to the child development center for help and were warmly received by Survival staff. As soon as I registered for the Survival program, my heart found peace. I gave birth to twin boys.
The Survival program made it possible for us to afford medical care and medicine. It enabled regular doctor’s visits for both me and my children. We also receive food and hygiene kits every month. Survival staff share valuable teachings in many areas, including child development. I have confidence because they are preparing my babies for a bright future.
I thank God for the Survival program. Without it, I would have no hope. May God bless you, protect you and keep you healthy.
Sincerely,
Noélie

Survival Spotlight: Delivery Care
The health of mothers and newborns is intricately related. Because of this, Compassion church partners provide prenatal care to give expectant moms and their babies the support they need for a safe and healthy birth. Mothers are able to attend prenatal medical appointments, when in the past they could never have considered such an expense. They also receive transportation to their local health center or hospital so they can keep those appointments. If their pregnancy has proceeded smoothly, skilled birth attendants guide and support them through the birthing process. Mothers who develop complications are connected to advanced medical care (including surgery, if necessary). After the babies arrive, the program gifts the new moms with baskets full of hygiene supplies and newborn necessities. All of this is possible through your generous giving!
Thank You for Your Support
Thank you for giving hope to mothers and babies in poverty. You have shown them they are not alone and that their lives are worth protecting. May God bless you!
