Greetings, Church at Brook Hills! Thank you for your gift to provide life-changing care for babies and their caregivers in Togo. Babies in the Survival program receive benefits that help them grow and develop during their first year of life. Their caregivers receive prenatal exams, a loving community and income-generation workshops. By helping both babies and their parents, your gift can truly transform an entire community!
This report includes updates on Survival activities at Eglise Methodiste du Togo (TG0822), Eglise Evangelique Presbyterienne (TG0926), Eglise Evangélique Presbytérienne du Togo Paroisse (TG0927) and Eglise Evangélique Presbytérienne du Togo Paroisse (TG0928). A Letter From Victoire, a Caregiver at Eglise Evangelique Presbyterienne (TG0926)
Dear Friends,
My name is Victoire, and I am the mother of Josué. It is a great joy for me to express my gratitude to you!
The Survival program helped me afford prenatal care throughout my pregnancy. When I had complications during my delivery, the program paid for me to be transferred to another hospital. Survival staff were quick to intervene with love, compassion and financial support. Because of them, I was able to have an emergency cesarean section.
I was impressed when Survival staff regularly visited me in the hospital and at home. To my surprise, they blessed me with a newborn kit, complete with soaps, clothes, a mosquito net and other items. They also provided nutritional support and taught me about family planning, hygiene and child development.
On behalf of the other parents, I would like to thank you for your support, especially during the pandemic. May the Lord remember you and watch over your family.
Sincerely,
Victoire
