Thank you, Calvary East Valley! Your support to launch Global Child Youth Development Center, based at Global Evangelical Church in southeastern Ghana is impacting 223 children. Children will benefit from a well-equipped program with trained staff who are ready to help them grow and develop into successful, upstanding individuals. Thank you for your generosity.

Children Thrive in a Loving Environment
Child development center staff provide opportunities for children to develop spiritually, physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. Your gift makes a way for children to experience God’s love through a supportive church community. The center is operating normally and children participate in activities at the center eight hours per week.

A Message From the Church Pastor
Praise be to the Lord, the King of kings and the Lord of lords! It is a great joy and blessing that you have partnered with Compassion and our church to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. Families in our community are very grateful you have provided their children with development opportunities.
Our community includes people of various religions who live together in peace. Your support encourages the church to share the love of Christ by caring for children and their families.
To better support the program, we have purchased tables, chairs, laptops, internet routers, teaching materials, a printer, a projector and screen and hygiene items. Children attend school at the center and everything is running smoothly.
I am sending you a big thank-you! Our heartfelt prayer for you is that God would bless you, protect you and your family from disease, keep you strong and make the work you do prosperous. May the Lord care for your needs as you have cared for the needs of the children we support.

“My home is a 30-minute walk from the child development center. My parents give me a ride to the center on a motorbike. I like playing with friends, drawing and singing songs. One thing I have learned is how to pray before eating. When I grow up, I’d like to be a teacher.”
