Meet the Pastor and Staff

April 28, 2017

Thank you for your support of the Niños Vencedores con Criston Child Development Center. Compassion’s child development centers implement a curriculum that is contextualized for the local culture and the various age groups.

From health checkups to academic tutoring to Bible reading to snacks, activities are designed to develop children physically, academically, spiritually and economically. This one-to-one holistic development is an effective weapon in the fight against poverty.

ABOUT YOUR INVESTMENT

Citizen Heights Church is partnering with Compassion International to release children from poverty in Jesus' name — specifically through launching a new Child Development Center in Carrizal Canton (approximately 30 miles of San Miguel), El Salvador. There are approximately 3,000 residents in this community. Children are especially vulnerable to gang activity and the lack of education opportunities here. Thanks to your generosity, 148 children are now receiving support through Compassion's holistic child development programs.
