Crosspoint Church, thank you for sharing Christ’s love with children in need in Cusco, Peru! Your gift to launch a new Compassion child development center at Iglesia Bautista Independiente provides help for today and hope for tomorrow to children who truly need it the most.
It is our blessing to report that program activities are underway, and the center is operating normally, with precautions taken as needed to protect against COVID-19. Also, the children are being matched with sponsors.

A Letter From Iglesia Bautista Independiente
Dear Friends,
I have the honor to write to you and greet you cordially in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I want to thank you for the support from your generous heart. Thanks to your contribution, we are now equipped to assist in the comprehensive development of the most needy children. We purchased tables and chairs for the children’s classrooms, and we are preparing for their initial medical checkups.
We also delivered school supplies and blankets to the children and their families. With the help of our tutors, classes are underway. For the church, this is an opportunity to share the gospel.
The church team and I are learning the most effective ways to achieve the desired goals in the participating children. Thanks to the training we are receiving, and with the help of our Lord, we will continue to learn more.

Spotlight on a Compassion Participant
Ruth is one of the children participating in the child development center at Iglesia Bautista. She is flourishing and says she wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She lives five minutes away and walks to the center. Ruth shares some of things she enjoys about the program. “I like to be with my friends, play and draw.”
Thanks to your support, Ruth is one of more than 100 children participating in Compassion’s holistic child development program at Iglesia Bautista.
