AIC Kathonzweni is located in the Kathonzweni community in Kenya. The church was founded in 1975 and entered into a partnership with Compassion in 2008. In the same year, the church launched its sponsorship program with 334 children and made Survival services available for 15 mothers and their babies.
With your gift, this church-based center is able to offer vital care and resources to mothers and their babies, which includes one-to-one counseling with a Survival specialist, access to critical medical care, food supplements, and birth attendants. Importantly, mothers meet monthly for fellowship and workshops on pregnancy and childcare, during which they participate in spiritual formation lessons and build important friendships with other mothers.
Your investment safeguards mother and baby care at AIC Kathonzweni. Thank you!

A Letter of Thanks from Annastacia
I greet you in Jesus’ name. How are you? My name is Annastacia. I am 21 years old and in good health. I love Jesus, and He is my personal Savior. I thank God for His caring and helping hand upon my family. I appreciate all of the support I get through the Compassion center.
I live with my beloved husband Simu, my child Emmanuel, my brother in-law and his wife, their son, and our beloved grandmother in a rural area. I live in a small house with two bedrooms and a sitting room, in a small village called Ukuni where we live a peaceful life. Our neighbors are good and helpful people. I work as a hairdresser and am self-employed. My husband is sometimes employed and struggles to keep a job. My baby Emmanuel is always happy when I play with him, hug and cuddle him. Emmanuel is healthy and developing well. I always feel happy to be a part of the Survival mothers at the center. I learn about the importance of a balanced diet, immunizations and growth monitoring. The Survival staff there are very encouraging and loving.
Please pray that God will give us good health. Pray also for the Survival mothers and their families.
Thank you and God bless you,
Annastacia
