Thank You For Your Support
In some cultures, a baby is not named until after the first month, when the caregiver feels more confident the baby will survive. The tragic fact is that more than 7,200 babies die every day before reaching one month in age.¹ IntelliTect, thanks to your gift in support of Compassion Survival, mothers and babies in Nairobi, Kenya now have opportunities to thrive. As you know, Compassion’s Survival initiatives work to support these moms and babies, giving them the best start in life including medical checkups, home visits, group-based learning activities, emotional support, parenting workshops, and much more. Thank you for supporting Africa Inland Church Ndarakwa. Because of your help, mothers and babies are being blessed!

A Caregiver from Africa Inland Church Ndarakwa Expresses Her Gratitude
Dear Supporters,
I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ. My name is Veronica, and I am the mother of Ann. I joined the Survival program in February 2019 when I was pregnant. When my baby was born, I learned about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of her life. I was also shown how to feed my baby with complementary food after six months. I have benefited so much from the program.
I received a Bible, which helps me in both my individual and family devotions. I have also learned many skills at the center such as soap making, carpet making, and bead work. I am currently learning how to knit. I have learned many things about child care and keeping my home clean. I know now how to protect family members from preventable disease by helping them to practice good hygiene and to eat clean food.
Thank you very much for your support, and may God bless you.
Veronica
