A Letter from Agnes, a Survival Mom at AIC Kanzinwa
Dear Supporters,
I want to take this opportunity to greet you in Jesus’ name. My name is Agnes, mother to Alex. It is my hope that you are doing well and staying safe during this pandemic. I am very grateful for the support that my baby and I have received since I joined the Survival program. I joined this program while I was pregnant. I am so happy and thankful because I have learned about many things I did not know before. To be honest, I did not know much about health clinics. But then I learned that I should be going in for regular checkups during my pregnancy period. I thank God that through the knowledge I received in the Survival program, I delivered my baby well. At the center, we get nutritional supplements to keep us and our babies healthy. We also have lessons about body hygiene and environmental hygiene. This has helped me to keep my home, my baby and I safe and free from diseases. We also get trained on family planning matters. Through this, we have knowledge on how we should use family planning methods and also to understand what works best for us. I am grateful for this program because my baby had a health condition that required an operation, and it was successful. He is currently doing well. The hospital bill was paid for by AIC Kanzinwa Child Development Center. May the almighty God bless you for your kind support! Thank you so much for your continued support toward the needy. Lastly, I would like to share the following Bible verse, Romans 8:31-39, and encourage you to stay safe during this period.
Yours faithfully,
Agnes
