A Letter from Grace, a Caregiver at AIC Kathonzweni

Dear Friends,

I am grateful to write to you on this day. God is always good. He is our Father and protector, and I always thank Him. My name is Grace. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you in Jesus’ mighty name. I appreciate your support through the Survival program. I am 34 years old, and I live with my beloved husband and our two children in a small traditional house with two rooms. Life in my community is good, despite the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected our daily lives. I earn my income through farming, but it’s been a challenge because we haven’t had enough rain to sustain our crops for a good harvest. My husband works as a carpenter in the village, but due to the lock down and curfew restrictions, his job has challenges that lead to low or no income most days.

I am pregnant and about to deliver my baby. Please pray that God gives me a safe delivery. The doctor told me that I am healthy and the unborn baby is developing well in the womb. I always thank God for the Survival program in my community. The Survival staff are very supportive, and they always love and care for me. I enjoy the center activities and home visits. The staff advise me about life and family. Thank you so much, and may God bless you.

Yours faithfully,

Grace
